In 1905, Henry Alfred Framburg founded H. A. Framburg and Company in Chicago, Illinois with a singular vision: to design and build decorative lighting fixtures of uncompromising architectural quality. Today, over 120 years later, Framburg continues that tradition as one of the few fully integrated lighting manufacturers remaining in the United States.
Unlike standard importers, Framburg operates out of a consolidated manufacturing plant in Bellwood, Illinois. Every fixture is hand-rolled, hand-soldered, hand-buffed, and hand-assembled under one roof by master metal artisans. Our evolutionary design process combines traditional metalworking discipline with modern CAD modeling, enabling superior scale, precise proportion, and tailored structural integrity for luxury residential, commercial, and hospitality projects worldwide.
